Theseus HD Flat Preview II: Gallery

Theseus HD Flat Preview 2

Another update to my Theseus HD, as you can read, Gallery icon has been redrawn from the ground up. The old one I never preview because I was not happy with it, so it wasn’t even worth blogging about. So I spent pretty much my evening – night to remaking it, and here is the new version, do you like? I’m not sure how I feel about it personally, I always second guess my work, but yes, it’s very iOS7-ish, but that’s the design cues I’m going for. I should have a full 8 icon preview by the end of next week, and than MIUI screenshot too. Stay tuned, more previews coming!

Theseus HD Flat Preview

Theseus HD Flat PreviewI said it would happen, and I promise to keep my word! Here is a preview of Theseus HD Flat! My first icon set based on the new flat design that is becoming the new standard in the UI/UX world. The first icon is Google Play, the second is Hangouts and the third is Music. I have 3 more icons completed but ill reveal them at a later time. More updates coming, but for now enjoy!

I miss MIUI…

Sadly.

My phone is currently unrooted, running stock Sense 5, and it’s great, but nothing, and I mean, NOTHING can beat the all mighty MIUI. This is the last screenshot I took of MIUI v5 on my HTC One X (RIP), and I was in love with my setup. Some of the icons are from my very own Theseus HD (Phone, Music and Gmail), the rest is from other icon designers.

I can’t wait to get MIUI v5 on my HTC One. The icons are going to look super CRISP on my 1080p screen. I think I may just redraw all the Theseus HD icons from the ground up just to take clear advantage of the 1080p. Just waiting for MIUI for Sense ROM, which may not happen anymore after reading this thread on XDA Forums

Sucks. Was a huge supporter of Andy too, hopefully somebody will takeover MIUI for the One, I would, but I’m waaay to busy to take on such a job, and it’s pretty time consuming too reading through change logs, smali edits and bug reports. Oh well. I guess I’ll cross my fingers anyways.
